”Makoto" means truth or integrity in English, I was told by some one about this meaning in summer 2012 in the very polite manner.

The original idea comes from "Doctrine of the Mean ”(中庸 in chinese) which is the title of one of the four book of Confucianism.
Confucianism has influenced to many school of Samurai in Edo period, and the idea took place into the certain people.

"Makoto is something like god's will, it can be achieved by moral principal. "(it is my trial translation, in the definition of god may be different from western idea, it is called "Ten=supernatural being)
Makoto is to follow such will, it is not in the human being.

Since then, I started to realize the word ”Shisei" (high integrity) is used by many people around me and started to be interested in. I feel this concept seems be agreed by any people as universal idea.

I have been Hagi-shi by accident Oct 27 2012, and today I am going to Setagaya. (Each place has Shinto shrine praying for the same person who was died for his belief. I may overstate, but, the following idea is really dangerous which seeking something real, but who cares. It is likely wrong assumption. However, yet, unselfish activities in order to bigger harmonized success would be great satisfaction to such achiever.
As for me, if I could have achieved something I believe true, even I may lose many, I would be proud of my high standard morality.
